Each of these talented ladies run a design and publishing business all while designing fabric for Moda fabrics. Together they have over 45 years of quilting knowledge and experience. Linda founded Star Quilt Company in 1980, after designing patterns for other pattern companies. Jan began her business, Jan Patek Quilts, when she wanted to be a stay at home mom. Never could they have imagined that a few years later, they would have created many fabric lines, published numerous books and patterns and had their homes and designs featured in today’s top magazines. Linda and Jan's primitive styles capture stories of their lives, experiences and love of family and friends. Boredom is never a problem with these two talented ladies. They began designing for Moda in 1992 and continue to set the trends in the industry. Each of their fabric collections includes prints in their trademark pallet along with brushed homespuns.
